Uniform
Nelson Infant school colours are Navy/Blue, Black/Grey & White.
Our uniform is gender neutral.
Uniform needs to be practical for both inside and outside use.

Children need to come to school in suitable clothing for the weather conditions;

Hair
Long hair must be tied back for PE and when working with food. This also helps to prevent the spread of head lice!
Jewellery
Children must not wear jewellery for health and safety reasons. Wristwatches and small plain stud earrings are permitted. All jewellery must be removed for PE and when working with food.
Stationary and School Bags
Children do not need ANY personal belongings, toys or stationary at school. They will need a book bag for their reading books & reading records.
Our children do not have to wear uniform with the school logo on it. You can get logo-free uniform all major supermarkets.
If you want to purchase items with the Nelson logo on, you can get them from Stevensons on Ber Street. They also sell items without logos.
